We’re honest and open about everything we do here at Great Choice Flooring, so here’s the T’s&C’s of this offer.
* 3 rooms up to 200 sq ft each. Larger rooms can be cleaned but will use up a room “credit.”
* Every clean includes pre‑spray, hot water extraction, free deodoriser and antibacterial treatment.
* Light (small) furniture moving only; we’ll work around heavier pieces like sideboards, wardrobes, sofas etc if present on the day of the clean. We’ll clean any carpet we can see!
* Pet odours or very heavy soiling or stains which require additional work will be quoted for in advance, before we start. Don’t worry, the vast majority of cleans under this offer just pay the offer price. We are NOT bait and switch cowboys!
* Drying times typically 2–6 hours, with “walk-on” dry times after about an hour. This is subject to a wide variety of factors like airflow, external weather conditions, fibre type and so on.

FAQ’s
How long with the carpets take to dry?
With our truck-mounted system we achieve drying times of 1-3 hours, depending on several factors like outside air temp, fibre type etc. However, with our portable machine we aim for a drying time of 4-6 hours.
In all cases sometimes it may be just an hour or 2, sometimes it may be slightly longer depending on how much work we’ve had to do to get the carpets pristine again and what fibre the carpet is made from.
What do you need from me?
We are very self-sufficient. Our super-powerful truck mounted system provides all the power and hot water I need to do an incredible job! However, on some jobs I may not be able to get close enough to the property to run that system, so I may have to use my portable machine. This machine is still immensely powerful but with that machine I will need really hot water and electric)
What must I consider after the clean?
Here are a few things to think about once the clean has been completed. Don’t worry about remembering them, you will remind you of these before the clean starts!
IMPORTANT – If you must walk on the carpets while they are drying, ensure you don’t slip over when you go from the damp carpets onto any smooth floors eg laminate, stone etc
IMPORTANT – Don’t put anything wood or metal back onto the carpet before it is totally dry. Plastic is fine. Wood may leave dye stains and metal will go rusty.
IMPORTANT – Please air the room as effectively as possible by opening windows / doors etc. Radiators left on are fine if the room is left with the doors open. If this is NOT done, you may experience a “damp” smell which will go once the property is aired effectively.
Wool carpets will smell of wet hair immediately after a clean. That’s exactly what it is. Opening the windows will clear it!
How long will upholstery take to dry?
Upholstery is full of highly absorbent filling which may take a while to dry fully. In “non-optimal” weather it may take up to 24 hours to fully dry which is why we will normally recommend upholstery cleaning is done in the summer months. In this case it will only take 3-6 hours to dry with good airflow.
