Thank you for asking Great Choice Flooring to clean your carpets, uplostery, and other hard floors. Please do grab a cuppa and a ginger nut and have a good read to ensure everything goes well on the day of your clean. 

The Important Stuff … 

NOISE

I use a “truck-mount” carpet cleaning system which stays outside in the van. This is a brilliant bit of kit but it is quite noisy as it is so incredibly powerful. If noise is a concern for an hour or two, please let me know in advance; I can bring a quieter portable machine. On the day of the clean all I need is to be able to get close to the property and access.

SLIPS AND TRIPS

Beware of slip and trip hazards and PLEASE ENSURE YOU TELL EVERYONE!!

MARKING DAMP CARPETS

Nothing WOOD or METAL on the carpet until it is totally dry. Plastic is fine.

PETS

Please ensure you keep your pets shut away as I will be running hoses through doors.

DRYING CARPETS

The key to drying carpets is to air the rooms as much as possible. Carpet drying times are usually about 4-6 hours (depending on warmth, air flow, fibre type etc)

Additional Information … 

1) Payment is to be made on the day by card or cash please.

2) It’s ok for you to walk on the carpets, but not “ideal.” If you can wait a few hours that’s great.

3) Do you have wool carpets? If so they will smell of wet hair after cleaning – the smell will go once properly aired.
