Let’s Ensure Your Cleaning Goes Well … 

Thank you for asking Great Choice Flooring to clean your carpets, uplostery, and other hard floors. Please download the advice sheet or view the highlights below.

To ensure everything goes well, everyone keeps safe and I get the best results for you, please consider the following points:

⇒ I have a super-powerful truck-mounted machine so I am very self-sufficient. All I need is to be able to get close to the property to run my hoses from my van, and access to the property.

⇒ BEWARE OF SLIP HAZARDS – After the clean, please be very careful as you walk from damp carpets onto any smooth flooring e.g stone, laminate, vinyl etc. This can get VERY slippery.

⇒  Don’t put anything WOOD or METAL back onto the carpet until it is totally dry, though plastic is fine.

⇒ Payment is to be made on the day, card or cash please.

⇒ Carpet drying times is usually about 4-6 hours depending on warmth of the day, air flow, fibre type etc

⇒ I will be running hoses through doors. Please ensure you keep your pets shut away!

⇒  Please air the room(s) as much as possible to stop a damp smell forming

⇒ It’s fine for you to walk on the carpets, but not “ideal.” If you can wait a few hours that is perfect, but no worries if not.

⇒  If your carpets are wool, they will smell of wet hair after they have been cleaned. The smell will go once properly aired.

⇒  Please air the room(s) as much as possible to stop a damp smell forming.
